Job summary

DW Simpson Global Actuarial & Analytics Recruitment is seeking a talented Actuary to lead the valuation and financial reporting for Variable Annuities. You will be responsible for calculating US GAAP, statutory, and tax reserve balances while conducting annual impact testing for assumption changes.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of actuarial experience and be a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA). The position offers hybrid work flexibility in locations such as Brighton, MA (Boston area) and Des Moines, IA.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of actuarial experience, particularly with variable annuities.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, statutory, and tax reserve calculations.
• Management experience in an actuarial context.
