Base pay range

$150,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the monthly and quarterly close processes for various investment funds and management entities
• Review NAV packages and capital account allocations prepared by fund administrators
• Oversee accounting and reporting for structured credit investments, including RMBS, CMBS, CLOs, and ABS
• Liaise with fund administrators, auditors, and tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Prepare internal financial reports and analyses for senior management and investment professionals
• Support annual audit and tax return processes for investment vehicles and management companies
• Maintain and enhance internal controls and financial reporting procedures
• Assist with regulatory filings, investor reporting, and ad hoc projects as needed
• Help implement new systems, tools, or processes to improve operational efficiency

Qualifications:

• 4-7 years of total work experience, with a mix of public accounting (preferably Big 4 or national firm) and fund accounting at a hedge fund, private equity firm, or other alternative investment firm
• CPA preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and investment company accounting
• Familiarity with structured credit instruments (RMBS, CMBS, CLOs, ABS) and their accounting treatment
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with portfolio accounting systems (e.g., Geneva, Investran, or similar) is a plus
