Job summary

Summit Integrated is seeking a Technician Development Manager to grow our AVL installation team through hands-on coaching, training, and performance management. This role emphasizes technical skill development, craftsmanship, professionalism, and accountability while crafting individualized development plans and guiding certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate’s degree in electronics, audio-visual technology, or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop technician growth plans and provide hands-on coaching, feedback, and training.
• Lead team training, installation standards reviews, and certification preparation.
• Manage technician performance through regular check-ins, evaluations, and accountability.
• Partner with Installation Leadership and Foremen to prepare crews and align technician skills with project needs.
• Support installation operations, logistics, site visits, service calls, and project labor as needed.
• Maintain installation quality standards through work reviews, troubleshooting, and quality assurance checks.
• Partner with the Installation Trainer to establish certification requirements and assess technician competency.
• Foster team engagement, recognize achievements, and support career development and retention.
• Maintain accurate administrative records and follow company policies and communication standards.
