Job summary

Summit Integrated Systems, Inc. is seeking a Solution Architect to drive innovative, value-focused AVL solutions for clients. You will develop concepts during the sales process, provide technical leadership through the project lifecycle, and stay ahead on the latest AVL trends.

This role combines design, collaboration, and hands-on system tuning across multiple sites. You will travel to client locations, support proposals and contracts, and deliver training to staff and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Develops high-level AVLA design concepts aligned with customer vision.
• Serves as a technical expert during the sales process and demonstrates value and budget adherence.
• Produces complete AVLA system parts lists based on customer requirements.
• Prepares documentation for winning projects including 3D renderings; collaborates on proposals and contracts.
• Collaborates with engineering to provide design documentation and final construction approvals.
• Ensures contractually accurate products are installed and manages change orders and returns.
• Acts as the technical expert for the final solution and oversees programming, calibration, and tuning of AVL systems on-site.
• Delivers training to staff and volunteers on the new system.
