Job summary

SpaceX in Hawthorne, CA, is seeking a Test Specialist, Avionics (Starshield) to support production of Starshield satellites. You will help design tooling, set up hardware, run tests, and document results alongside engineers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field.
• 1+ years of experience performing electronic testing and inspection with portable measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to develop and document test procedures.
• Perform tests and provide data with pass/fail criteria.
• Assist in hardware design and fabrication including harnesses and racks.
• Troubleshoot and write rework instructions for failing hardware.
• Configure Linux-based servers for HITL and factory environments.
• Support satellite qualification testing with engineers.
• Develop test automation software using Python under guidance.
