Job summary

Acron Aviation designs, engineers, and manufactures certified avionics systems for commercial and military aviation. We seek an Electronics Repair Technician to test, troubleshoot, overhaul, calibrate, and repair avionics instruments using manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities include testing, diagnosing problems from drawings and test procedures, and documenting findings. Must have 6 years or 2+ years post-secondary experience with aerospace/test experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent with relevant electronics experience.
• IPC A610 or JST 001 certification or ability to pass ESD certification and related IPC qualifications.
• 2 years troubleshooting RF/Digital circuits to the component level.

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot, and calibrate avionics electronics.
• Diagnose problems from drawings, schematics and test procedures.
• Document test findings and diagnose issues clearly.
• Provide input for process improvements and test procedures.
• Ensure correct functionality of units under test and test equipment.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of tests and defects.
