Job summary

Acron Aviation designs, engineers, and manufactures certified avionics systems. Electronics Repair Technicians test, troubleshoot, overhaul, calibrate, and repair avionics instruments using manuals, schematics, and drawings.

Position requires 2 years post-secondary or 6 years related experience, plus RF/digital circuit troubleshooting and test-equipment expertise; collaboration with engineering and quality teams is essential to ensure safe, reliable in-service performance.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• 2 years test experience in aerospace, military, and/or communications satellite hardware production.
• IPC A610 or JST 001 Certification or the ability to pass the ESD certification, IPC A610 and JSTD 001.
• 2 years troubleshooting RF/Digital circuits to the component level.

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot, overhaul, calibrate, and repair avionics instruments using manuals, schematics, and drawings.
• Diagnose and analyze problems using test equipment; document findings.
• Maintain accurate records and logs; ensure correct functionality of units under test and test gear.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, and customer support for process improvements and root-cause analysis.
