Job summary

Apex Space, Inc. in Los Angeles is seeking motivated engineering interns for a 12-week program to work closely with the broader engineering team on satellite avionics and manufacturing challenges.

You will gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship, and participate in learning sessions to deepen your aerospace knowledge. Majors in Electrical, Aerospace, or Computer Engineering are preferred, with experience in Altium and Python.

Qualifications

• Graduating between Spring 2027 and Spring 2028.
• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
• Experience in Altium and programming languages such as Python for scripting.
• Proficiency in PCB development, buildup and testing.
• Familiarity with avionics hardware and embedded communication protocols: UART, SPI, CAN, I2C.

• Assist in Avionics Test and development of ATE Rack systems for scalable spacecraft manufacturing.
