Job summary

Talent Matrixx in Boise, Idaho is seeking an Avionics Technician to join a reputable FAA Part 135 repair station. The role focuses on testing, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of avionics systems, wiring using industry tools, and documenting work in accordance with FAA and company procedures.

Must have four years of avionics/electronics experience, at least two years in avionics installation, and be a U.S. citizen.

Qualifications

Four years of avionics or electronics related experience.
Two years minimum avionics installation experience preferred.
U.S. Citizen or Naturalized U.S. Citizen.
Must pass a DOT/FAA Pre-employment Drug Screen.
Must clear a 10-year background check with no felonies.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Complete RVSM, 91.411 and 91.413 Inspections.
Perform avionics systems wire harness fabrication and installation including marking, routing, tying, lacing, termination of wiring and connectors.
Perform continuity checks of wiring and systems to ensure proper functionality.
Adjust, repair, or replace defective parts and wiring on avionics and aircraft systems.
Disassembly/reassembly of the aircraft interior, instrument panels and avionics equipment bays prior to/after installation or repair.
Document removal and installation of parts according to procedures.
Demonstrate understanding of work order procedures and document work with approved data references.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
