Job summary

DZYNE Technologies is seeking an Avionics Technician in Irvine, CA for on-site work. You will create and install aircraft system wire harnesses, perform testing and troubleshooting on avionics, and repair modified electrical systems for manned and unmanned aircraft in line with DOD and manufacturer directives.

The role demands reading schematics, routing harnesses in confined spaces, and documenting actions. Requires a high school diploma and 3+ years in the field; ITAR/export rules apply.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of avionics wiring experience in a defense or aerospace environment.
• Strong background with aircraft system theory and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and process specs.
• Able to route, assemble, and install wire bundles in confined spaces such as cockpits and ECS bays.
• Capable of using basic test equipment like multi‑meters and related test gear.
• Able to document maintenance actions, logs, parts requests clearly.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, route and install aircraft system wire harnesses.
• Perform functional testing and troubleshooting of installed avionics.
• Repair and modify electrical and avionics systems per directives.
• Work with customers, contractors and hardware engineers to implement system requirements.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed during installation and maintenance.
