Job summary

Cutter Aviation in Englewood, CO seeks an Avionics Technician to maintain, repair, troubleshoot, modify aircraft systems and installations under the Avionics Supervisor, complying with the repair station manual and FAA rules.

Responsibilities include airframe electrical and avionics work, following manufacturer instructions and 14 CFR Part 43; ensure proper parts handling, paperwork, safety, and team coordination. Two+ years of avionics experience and an A&P certificate are preferred.

Qualifications

• A&P certificate preferred; two+ years related experience in avionics installations/repairs.
• Understanding of 145 repair station operations/regulations is required.
• Must be able to pass background and drug screening; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform airframe electrical and avionics repairs, inspections, installations and modifications.
• Disassemble defective parts, install replacement parts and test systems.
• Interpret technical manuals, drawings and blueprints to support maintenance tasks.
• Ensure all work complies with manufacturer instructions, FAA regulations and repair station manuals.
• Communicate with the avionics supervisor on progress and issues.
