Job summary

Protingent is seeking an Avionics Technician II in Kent, WA to build components and assemblies for multiple environments including development, test, and flight. You will collaborate with engineering to determine best assembly practices and support manufacturing improvements for efficiency.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and quality as we push to deliver high‑quality spaceflight components and related hardware.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in aerospace avionics or related fields.
• Familiarity with ESD EPA and tool control/accountability processes.
• Experience using electronics assembly tools, hand soldering and basic electronic test equipment (multimeters and power supplies).
• Experience inspecting and certifying work to relevant standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Build components and assemblies for all groups across environments (development, test and flight).
• Assist with assembly of new designs by working with engineering to determine best practices for assembly.
• Provide input on manufacturing improvement opportunities or build changes to improve efficiency.
• Support internal and external customers across multiple systems and platforms; ensure safety and quality while balancing speed.
• Apply torque to fasteners/components and fabricate, terminate, and test wire harnesses.
