Zusammenfassung

Amentum is seeking a USMC MQ-9 CLS Technician to troubleshoot aircraft electronics and Ground Control Station systems. The role requires advanced knowledge of electronics, ability to read schematics, and the capability to sign off work in NALCOMIS/OOMA/IMDS.

Must hold a Secret clearance and HS diploma; MQ-9/GCS experience preferred. You will maintain generators, load banks, relays, batteries, actuators, and related instruments, perform complex circuit analysis, and mentor junior technicians

Qualifikationen

• Active Secret security clearance with eligibility for Top Secret.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years aircraft avionics and/or Ground Control Station maintenance experience.
• Minimum of 1 year MQ-9 aircraft and/or GCS experience as an Avionics Technician.
• Advanced knowledge of electronics maintenance and repair.
• Advanced knowledge of RFF systems, components, and accessories.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and data tables.
• Must obtain IAT Level II certification within 90 days of hire or before second deployment.
• English speaking and writing proficiency.
• Valid state driver’s license.

Aufgaben

• Maintain UAS electrical generators, load banks, starters, relays, batteries, actuators, circuit breakers, switches, and aircraft instruments.
• Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems beyond manufacturers’ manuals.
• Perform circuit analyses, calculate waveforms, and trace signal flow with advanced test equipment.
• Prioritize workload to meet daily flight schedule.
• Log aircraft entries, participate in shift meetings, and guide lower-level technicians during modifications.
• Lead in conjunction with Production Staff and Avionic Leads.
• Sign off work in NALCOMIS/OOMA/IMDS.
• Read CNAFINST 4790.2 and DAFI 21-101.
• Inspect and operate ground support equipment; lift >50 pounds when needed.
