Job summary

Amentum is seeking a qualified USMC MQ-9 CLS Technician to maintain and troubleshoot aircraft electronics and Ground Support Station systems. The role requires handling complex electronics, coordinating with production staff, and ensuring daily flight schedules are met.

Local candidates are preferred; relocation is not provided. This is an hourly position with SCA benefits and opportunities to grow in a defense contractor environment in the United States.

Qualifications

• Active Secret US Government clearance required.
• Minimum of 1 year Aircraft Avionics and/or Ground Control Station maintenance experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams and data tables.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends; lift 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain UAS electrical and computer systems, including relays, batteries, actuators, circuit breakers, switches, instruments, and peripherals.
• Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve unusually complex electronics problems and implement engineering changes.
• Interpret circuit interrelationships, perform circuit analyses, and use high-end test instruments.
• Sign off work in OOMA/NALCOMIS and participate in shift maintenance meetings.
