Job summary

5th HQ in the United States is seeking a skilled Avionics or Electronics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with electronic systems, strong diagnostic skills, and familiarity with FAA regulations.

You will interpret schematics, use bench test equipment, troubleshoot and repair systems, and ensure compliance with FAR 145 standards. Proactive communication with OEMs and documentation using Office tools is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years hands-on electronics/avionics experience.
• Associate degree or technical school certification required.
• A&P license and/or Aircraft Electronics Technician (AET) certification a plus.
• Familiarity with FAA Part 145 repair stations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from drawings, schematics, CMMs, and work instructions.
• Use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, and power supplies.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and test avionics/electronic systems.
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and standards.
• Utilize Office applications for reporting and documentation.
• Navigate computer systems and web platforms for data entry.
• Communicate effectively with team members and OEMs.
