Job summary

Duncan Aviation is seeking an Avionics Technician to inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and remove/replace avionics components and systems to meet manufacturer specs and regulatory standards. The role may involve duties as a Quality Inspector (QI) and requires accurate documentation and clear customer communication.

Essential responsibilities include wiring and system troubleshooting, ordering parts, and supporting flight crews during in-flight troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate degree in avionics, electronics, airframe/engine maintenance or related field or equivalent.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Ability to document work clearly and interact with customers.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs avionics and instrument systems in various airframes using tools and test equipment.
• Documents work performed on work orders and ensures proper installation according to data and procedures.
• Assists other technicians and provides guidance to junior staff as needed.
• Communicates with customers regarding technical issues and status of work.
