Job summary

Veterans Alliance staffs in support of Aviation and Aerospace career opportunities. The Avionics Mechanic role involves installing units, parts, equipment, and components in avionics assemblies according to blueprints.

Candidates should be familiar with military manuals and blueprints and have 4+ years of aircraft experience, with UH60 A/L Mike experience a plus. The position offers pay between $32 and $36 per hour, with per diem split for those eligible, and is described as a long-term

Qualifications

• 4+ years on aircraft experience.
• Experience with UH60 A/L Mike model is a plus.
• Familiarity with maintenance manuals, blueprints, and technical orders.

Responsibilities

• Installs units, parts, equipment, and components in avionics per blueprints and specs.
• Fabricates and assembles prototype equipment for military aircraft.
• Coordinates with project engineer personnel and provides technical assistance to engineers.
• Performs service, repair, and overhaul of aircraft to maintain airworthiness.
• Reads and interprets FAA FARs and commercial manuals; services batteries.
