Job summary

Total Aviation Staffing, LLC is seeking an experienced avionics technician to diagnose, repair, and test avionics systems on turbine aircraft. Candidate will perform inspections, wiring work, and system upgrades while maintaining detailed maintenance records.

Required 3–5 years of avionics on turbine aircraft with strong troubleshooting and wiring diagram proficiency. FAA A&P preferred; Learjet experience is a plus. On-site position in Titusville, FL with relocation assistance offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3–5 years avionics experience on turbine aircraft.
• Strong knowledge of digital avionics systems, EFIS, FMS, autopilot, and integrated flight decks.
• Proficiency in reading wiring diagrams and aircraft schematics.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• FAA A&P certificate preferred.
• Learjet experience (e.g., Lear 60/55/35) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair avionics discrepancies using approved technical data.
• Conduct operational checks and functional testing on complex avionics systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical wiring, data buses, and system integration issues.
• Perform scheduled inspections and support unscheduled maintenance events.
• Maintain accurate logbook entries and work order documentation.
• Fabricate wiring, configure systems, and support avionics upgrades and modifications.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and participate in inspection activities.
• Maintain test equipment and stay current with service publications.
• Support interior connectivity systems as needed.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of avionics experience on turbine aircraft.

• Proficiency in reading wiring diagrams and aircraft schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and system integration skills.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Preferred:

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate.
• Experience working on Learjet aircraft, such as Lear 60, 55, or 35.
