Job Title: Avionics Technician C

Location: New Orleans, LA 70143

Duration: 12 months assignment with possible extension

Shift Schedule: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Pay Rate: $43/hour on W2 without benefits

Job Description:

1. Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
2. Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul. Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
3. Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
4. Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
5. Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).
6. Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.

Preferred Experience:

• Electrician or ordnance
• Ability to obtain security clearance

Any Physical Requirements:

The ability to lift up to 35 Lbs.

Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).
