Job summary

Textron Aviation in Wichita is seeking an Avionics Technician to perform final assembly testing and repair of avionics, electronic, and communication systems on production aircraft. You will test, configure, install wiring, and load system software as part of the final integration.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of aircraft experience, with knowledge of electrical and avionics principles and test equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of aircraft experience including wire bundle routing and installation preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical and avionics principles and test equipment required.

Responsibilities

• System Testing & Configuration: test/configure electrical and avionics per orders/specs.
• Component Installation: install/remove wiring for radios, altimeters, transponders, radar.
• Software Loading: load system software and databases as required.
