Job summary

Gogo Inc. is seeking a hands-on, collaborative Systems Engineering Manager to lead our System Engineering team in Colorado.

You will distill product requirements into development architectures and support cross-functional teams through development, certification, and end-to-end validation. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in hardware/software/avionics system development and at least 4 years of direct people management, with strong knowledge of DO-178/DO-254 and related standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 5–7 years of hardware, software, or avionics system development experience.
• 4 years of direct people management experience.
• Experience with avionics standards DO-178/DO-254 and DO-160/MIL-STD.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage all aspects of the System Engineering function.
• Ensure compliance to AS9100, DO-178, and DO-254 processes.
• Lead hiring, mentoring and development of Systems Engineers.
• Provide clear product requirements and data to cross-functional teams.
