Job summary

Belcan Corporation is seeking an Avionics Systems Engineer in Phoenix to support an aerospace customer. The role targets candidates with 5+ years in avionics systems engineering, specializing in safety-critical embedded software for TCAS and CNS apps, and DO-178C compliance. Hybrid schedule (2-3 onsite). Relocation assistance; role may be full-time or contract (W2).

Bachelor's in a technical discipline is required; US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline as listed.
• Minimum 5+ years in Avionics Systems Engineering.
• Experience with TCAS or CNS applications.
• DOORs requirements management experience.
• Knowledge of DO-178C processes.

Responsibilities

• Decompose and trace requirements to system level in DOORs.
• Perform formal reviews of system requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support hardware/software integration.
• Support system validation, verification, and certification activities.
• Support SSA activities with adherence to ARP4761.
