Job summary

LeoForce in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support avionics design, integration, and testing on Honeywell EPIC Flight Deck. You will work across Displays, FMS, Flight Controls, Autopilot, Datalink, and related aircraft systems.

This contract role requires 5+ years in avionics or aerospace engineering, a degree in electrical, aerospace, or systems engineering, and knowledge of the V-model and ARP-4754. You must be a U.S. citizen and able to relocate to Phoenix.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Systems, Avionics, Software, or Aerospace engineering experience.
• Expertise with Honeywell EPIC integrated avionics systems.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, systems engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Knowledge of Systems Development lifecycle (Full Life Cycle Systems Engineering 'V', ARP-4754).
• Experience with Honeywell EPIC Displays integrating with Flight Controls, Flight Management, Datalink, or related aircraft systems.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Support aircraft-level avionics systems design, integration, and test on the Honeywell EPIC Integrated Flight Deck.
• Provide systems engineering and integration support for Displays and Graphics across FMS, Guidance, Navigation, Flight Controls, Autopilot, and Datalink products.
• Support Surface Warning Systems functionality within the Surface Management System (SMS).
• Conduct systems validation and testing of new avionics functionality using dynamic aircraft simulation and test facilities (SITS benches).
• Apply full life-cycle systems engineering practices (Systems Development 'V' model, ARP-4754) to avionics integration work.

What We Require:

• 5+ years of Systems, Avionics, Software, or Aerospace engineering experience
• Expertise with Honeywell EPIC integrated avionics systems
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, systems engineering, or related technical discipline

Preferred:

• Business jet avionics experience (Gulfstream, Bombardier, Dassault)
• Display systems and associated applications (EI, CAS, PFD, Synoptics, ECL)
• Experience with aircraft wiring diagrams and modified inputs across systems to support flight tests
• Experience building tools to support flight test campaigns
• Experience integrating avionics functionality across Displays, FMS, Flight Controls, Datalink, Radios, Surveillance, and Navigation
