A leading engineering firm is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to support verification & validation tasks for the Small Engine Control Program. The position requires 4+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in software engineering. Successful candidates will independently evaluate test processes and ensure compliance with industry standards. Initial onsite work is required in Endicott, NY, with potential for hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in avionics or electronic controls embedded development.
• Experience developing software to DO-178C standards.
• Familiarity with data transfer protocols like ARINC 615A and CAN.

Responsibilities

• Provide verification & validation tasks for the Small Engine Control Program.
• Evaluate plans, requirements, and test processes for alignment.
• Perform V&V activities and onboard with client project infrastructures.
