Insight Global is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer to accelerate end-to-end automation for embedded avionics software. You will translate requirements into Python-based test cases, review artifacts, and help expand the regression framework for safety-critical systems.

Ideal candidates have DO-178 experience, 6+ years in aerospace testing, and strong LabVIEW skills. You will mentor the team and onboard quickly to SITL/HITL environments to clear testing backlogs.

Formación

• B.Sc. in Engineering from an accredited university.
• 6+ years of relevant integration and testing experience in aerospace or a comparable field.
• Strong background in embedded system hardware and software.
• Advanced Python development skills.
• Experience with requirements-based testing and verification of safety-critical systems.
• Hands-on experience with LabVIEW.

Responsabilidades

• Translate requirements into Python-based test cases and scripts for the regression suite.
• Review and approve test cases and scripts to ensure coverage and correctness.
• Build out and maintain the regression test suite following established processes.
• Coach the team and resolve technical issues to accelerate delivery.

Job Description

A company has a 3 – 6 month opening for to accelerate/augment the end-to-end automation of our software regression test suite for our embedded avionics systems. Functional Requirements: The core objective is to serve as a Senior Software Test Engineer for safety-critical software verification. You will serve as a technical authority on translating requirements into software test cases and scripts, written in python. Experience with DO-178 software verification or similar safety-critical programs is required. You will review and approve test cases and scripts to achieve building out our regression test suite, while maintaining our established processes. Strong troubleshooting skills required. You will need to support coaching the team and resolving technical issues . Given the tight delivery timeline, we require an experienced Software Engineer who can rapidly onboard, demonstrate immediate proficiency in Python-based test development, and hit the ground running with specialized SITL/HITL environments to clear our testing backlog efficiently.
