Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Avionics Technical Sales Manager in Chattanooga, TN. This on-site role focuses on targeting opportunities, providing technical analysis for work packages, and supporting regional sales objectives through data-driven strategies.

You will use Salesforce and aviation databases to identify opportunities, coordinate with regional managers, and prepare compelling proposals. Travel to customer events is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of avionics systems and related components.
• Minimum of five years experience as a technician, tech rep, or sales role.
• Ability to travel to customer events and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Identify sales leads and provide technical analysis for work packages.
• Utilize Salesforce.com and aviation databases to manage opportunities.
• Prepare sales presentations, contract reviews, and proposals.
• Coordinate with Regional Sales Managers on maintenance events.
• Maintain pricing data and ensure proposals meet technical data requirements.
• Attend industry trade shows and vendor events to build relationships.
