Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking a Technical Sales Manager in Chattanooga, TN. The role focuses on identifying sales leads, delivering technical analyses for work packages, and supporting Regional Sales Managers and Program Managers to win maintenance projects.

Ideal candidates will have strong technical aviation knowledge, at least 5 years in aerospace sales or maintenance, and Proficiency with Salesforce/AMSTAT. Occasional travel to customer events is required.

Qualifications

• Requires strong sales and technical analysis capabilities.
• 5+ years’ experience in aircraft maintenance/tech sales or equivalent.
• Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and related software.

Responsibilities

• Identify sales opportunities and provide technical analyses for work packages.
• Analyze market, competition and trends to align with market needs.
• Develop marketing opportunities aligned with product line objectives.
• Plan target customers by next maintenance event and region.
• Coordinate with Regional Sales Managers on maintenance events.
• Provide customers with technical data, proposals and terms.
• Prepare sales presentations, contract reviews and proposals.
• Review quotes with Contract Administrators for accuracy.
