Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Quality Inspector for the Supply Chain Avionics team in Hawthorne, CA. The role involves travel up to 20% to perform visual and dimensional inspections on parts and assemblies at supplier sites and in incoming areas.

You will select gauges, inspect tolerances, resolve nonconformances, support QMS policies, and drive continuous improvement with internal and external stakeholders. Prior avionics inspection experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of receiving, precision, or metrological inspection experience.

Responsibilities

• Travel up to 10-20% to perform visual and dimensional inspections.
• Inspect features and tolerances using standard gauges.
• Support Quality Management System policies and documentation.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives with internal and supplier teams.
