Job summary

Astronautics Corporation of America is seeking a Project Engineer at our Oak Creek headquarters. You will act as the technical lead over avionics product design and mentor a multidisciplinary team to deliver cutting-edge displays and systems for aerospace applications.

You will collaborate with customers and internal teams, manage schedules and budgets, and drive development through certification. This contributor role reports to the Chief Engineer of Avionics Solutions and supports a hybrid

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline from an accredited university.
Minimum five years in electronics product development.
Minimum three years in project engineering.
Experience planning staffing, schedules, budgets, and risk management.
Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Act as the technical lead over the design of new and existing avionics products.
Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams across electrical, mechanical, software, and systems.
Serve as the technical point of contact with customers.
Plan and execute schedules and budgets with program management.
Lead design reviews through development, including planning, architecture, implementation, verification, and certification.
Monitor and communicate project status to management and customers.
