We’re seeking an Avionics Program Manager to lead complex development programs from kickoff to delivery. You’ll manage schedules, budgets, and technical performance while serving as the primary link between customers, engineering, and cross-functional teams, driving results in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Job Description:

• Collaborates with Engineering to track and update task completion status in Microsoft Project.
• Identifies program risks and develops effective mitigation strategies.
• Coordinates the build and delivery of avionics hardware to Engineering for development and testing.
• Serves as the primary customer interface, managing relationships across all levels while engaging internal cross-functional teams.
• Oversees development programs for complex avionics systems with substantial embedded software components.
• Collects input from Engineering to support Earned Value analysis.
• Leads weekly program reviews, implementing corrective actions as needed, and ensuring clear communication of deadlines, assignments, and objectives.
• Continuously monitors program status, documenting progress, timelines, issues, risks, and achievements, while applying mitigation strategies as required.
• Drives program completion on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with technical requirements and customer expectations.
• Works with team members, stakeholders, and management to anticipate and manage project changes, including technical scope, business needs, and schedules; determines and secures additional resources when necessary.
• Contributes to executive-level discussions on project direction and participates in proposals and sales activities to align products with client needs and specifications.
• Manages expectations of clients, senior leadership, and project teams by providing, interpreting, and leveraging project metrics.
• Obtains and analyzes client feedback, integrating insights into future program improvements; evaluates broader implications of program changes and adjusts plans accordingly.
• Available for business travel up to 10%.
