Job summary

Castelion is seeking an Avionics Production Scheduler to own production planning across PCBA, harnesses, electrical integration, and avionics test. You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Inventory to ensure hardware availability and that schedules align with vehicle build requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 1+ year in production planning or 3+ years in related roles, plus experience with ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 1+ year of experience in production planning, scheduling, manufacturing, or operations; or 3+ years of relevant experience.
Experience working with ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and long-range production schedules for avionics manufacturing.
Translate vehicle and program demand into production requirements for PCBAs, harnesses, electrical assemblies, and test activities.
Identify material, labor, equipment, and capacity constraints that could impact schedule.
Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Inventory, and Engineering to resolve shortages and production blockers.
Prioritize hardware through shared manufacturing and test resources.
Track schedule performance and communicate risks, changes, and recovery plans.
Support capacity planning and production-rate increases as manufacturing scales.
Improve scheduling tools, reporting, and processes through automation and continuous improvement.
