Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking an Experienced Product Security Engineer to provide cyber security and resiliency engineering for embedded avionics across Air Dominance programs, including F/A-18 and MQ-25A, based in Berkeley, MO.

You will join a growing AD PSE team, support RMF/JSIG/NISPOM aligned security controls, and collaborate with systems, software, and hardware stakeholders to develop secure architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in engineering/related field required.
• 1+ years avionics and/or aircraft computing systems experience.
• 3+ years identifying and addressing program risks and controls.
• 3+ years preparing technical documents for aircraft systems.
• Knowledge of cyber security incident response and safeguarding information.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and sustain product security requirements for avionics systems.
• Coordinate with partners and system-of-systems counterparts for artifacts and solutions.
• Advise on secure architectures with systems, software, and hardware stakeholders.
• Establish and integrate standards for embedded avionics security engineering.
• Perform threat/adversity analysis to inform cyber survivability requirements.
• Support risk reduction and maturation activities with innovative solutions.
• Implement security controls per JSIG, DoD RMF, NISPOM or related guidance.
• Assist planning, scheduling, risks, issues, and opportunities for cyber security.
• Support team building and cross-functional leadership within the group.
