Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Platform Systems Engineer II for the Aguadilla, PR area. The role involves design, requirements, validation and verification of CH-47F cockpit avionics within the CTES program, with hybrid work (3 days onsite, 2 remote) as scheduled.

You will learn about the Puerto Rico engineering team, work with cross-functional stakeholders, and apply Agile processes, MBSE tools, and DoD frameworks in a lab and test environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 2 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated capability to communicate in English (verbal and written)
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract
• Ability to travel to Cedar Rapids, IA for test events and updates, as needed

Responsibilities

• Design, requirements, validation, and verification for CH-47F cockpit avionics
• Learn and use requirements capture, peer review, configuration management, and AGILE development tools
• On-site execution of requirements-based testing in a lab environment
• Support decomposing customer specifications into subsystem requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including customer stakeholders and domain engineers
