Job summary

Castelion seeks an Avionics Technician Specialist to support development, assembly, integration, and testing of complex hardware. You will work with engineers to build test enclosures, harnesses, and test setups, execute procedures, collect data, and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliable hardware from development through lessons learned.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree, technical degree, or equivalent with 3+ years hands-on experience.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of electrical, electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical hardware.
• Experience operating engineering lab/test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, data acquisition systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Build, modify, integrate, and troubleshoot hardware, test fixtures, cables, and instrumentation.
• Execute test procedures, collect data, document results, and communicate anomalies to engineering teams.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, and data systems.
• Develop, configure, and maintain test setups to support electrical, mechanical, environmental, and system-level testing.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop practical test methods and fixtures for rapid hardware iteration.
