Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems seeks an Avionics Obsolescence Engineer to support the SETR process for complex control systems. The role involves translating Mission Systems requirements to enhance missile performance and collaborating with OEMs to drive upgrades and improved integration.

The candidate will work onsite at Patuxent River, Maryland, and must have an active Secret clearance. A bachelor’s degree in engineering is required, with preferred naval avionics experience and a master’s in

Qualifications

• Experience in avionics or obsolescence.
• Knowledge of avionics systems and systems integration challenges.
• Ability to work with a team of engineers to modify designs and improve system integrations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the acquisition SETR process in support of complex control systems.
• Work with existing teams to understand current challenges.
• Collaborate with OEMs to redesign, develop, and integrate system upgrades.
• Assist in augmenting designs and algorithms to improve system performance.
• Use electrical engineering skills to develop future technologies within the avionics discipline.
