The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in aerospace applications and a strong background in mechanical engineering, particularly in electronics packaging. This full-time position includes a salary range of $140,000 - $190,000 per year along with benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years professional experience developing avionics, RF, optical, or spacecraft hardware for aerospace applications.
• Strong understanding of structural and thermal design considerations for aerospace electronics and precision hardware.
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering efforts across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of mechanical engineers responsible for the avionics hardware across multiple spacecraft programs.
• Lead mechanical and system trades involving mass, stiffness, and manufacturability.
• Own mechanical qualification and acceptance strategies for avionics hardware.
