Relativity Space in Long Beach is seeking an Avionics Material Planner to own material planning for Terran R avionics hardware, including flight computers, power distribution units, sensor boxes, and other line-replaceable units, from development through production.

You will collaborate with Avionics Engineering, Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Launch teams to derive material demand from multi-level BOMs, manage long-lead items, and ensure clear-to-build readiness under tight deadlines.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years in material or production planning
• Experience in avionics or high‑reliability electronics hardware
• Experience scaling NPI to production with changing BOMs
• Knowledge of electronics supply chain dynamics (lead times, MOQs, allocation)
• Strong ERP/MRP understanding across systems (Plex, Infor LN, SAP, Oracle)

Aufgaben

• Own end-to-end material planning for avionics assemblies (EEE components, bare boards, wire, cables, PCBAs) and related hardware
• Collaborate with Avionics Eng., Sourcing, Manufacturing, Integration, Test, and Launch to derive demand from multi-level BOMs
• Identify long-lead items and advise on risk buys, ECO/ECO impact, and buffer strategies
• Assess material impact of engineering changes (ECOs/ECNs), obsolescence, rework, or scrap decisions
• Manage material flow to contract manufacturers and suppliers, including kitting and clear-to-build readiness
• Develop avionics material forecasts and optimize MRP automation in the ERP platform
