Job summary
West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Avionics Maintenance Technician to perform troubleshooting and repairs at the component level on avionics units and aircraft systems in Conroe, TX. This full-time, on-site role offers opportunities for growth within a leading MRO provider.
The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent with electronics/avionics training preferred. Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively in English, and meet
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Electronics or Avionics factory training preferred.
- Valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport ideal.
Responsibilities
- Perform general avionics support items on aircraft, including removal and installation of panels and components.
- Troubleshoot and evaluate avionics systems on the aircraft.
- Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components; verify system performance.
- Maintain and repair shop facilities, equipment, and tooling to support operations.
- Coordinate with customers on project management, pricing and support as needed.
- Work independently on projects and communicate clearly in English.
