Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an Avionics Maintenance Technician at our Chattanooga, TN facility. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing avionics units and aircraft systems, performing general avionics support tasks, and collaborating with teams to ensure safety and reliability. On-site, full-time position with strong growth opportunities.

The position emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, project collaboration, and adherence to FAA guidelines in a dynamic hangar environment.

Qualifications

• A High school diploma or equivalent. Electronics or Avionics factory training is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair avionics units (Nav, Coms, Pulse, Radar, Audio, Autopilot) and aircraft systems.
• Perform general avionics support items including removal/installation of panels and components and repair work.
• Troubleshoot and evaluate systems on the aircraft when designated.
• Inspect and evaluate the aircraft and components when designated.
• Verify aircraft performance and system function.

Education
