Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. in Chattanooga, TN is seeking an Avionics Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair avionics units (Navs, Coms, Pulse, Radar, Autopilot) and related aircraft systems at the component level, on site in a fast-paced MRO environment.

You will perform removal/install of panels and components, conduct system troubleshooting, inspections, and verification of aircraft performance, while following FAA guidance and safety rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred specialized avionics training.
• Electronics or avionics factory training is advantageous.
• Ability to read manuals and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair avionics units to component level (Navs, Coms, Pulse, Radar, Autopilot).
• Perform removal and installation of panels and components.
• Conduct system troubleshooting, inspections and performance verification.
