Qualifications

• 5–10 years in electrical or avionics aircraft discipline
• Formal aviation avionics training required
• Ability to read and comprehend avionics and mechanical drawings, specs, and schematics
• Must be able to obtain a secret security clearance
• Must be able to travel CONUS/OCONUS

Responsibilities

• Lead a Contract Field Team of 3–5 technicians
• Provide daily operational direction to the CFT team
• Provide daily progress reports to Project/Program Manager
• Train and mentor technicians on avionics maintenance and modifications
• Inspect and certify aircraft readiness after maintenance actions
• Install avionics, electrical, and communication systems and sensors
