Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Document work performed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Work independently or as part of a team in a production or MRO environment.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position – Avionics Installer (Aircraft Maintenance / MRO)

Location: Atlanta. Georgia
Environment: MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul)

Avionic Installer is responsible for installing, modifying, and troubleshooting aircraft avionics systems in a maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) environment. This role focuses on commercial A321 & B717 aircraft, requiring strong experience with avionics installations, wiring, and integration of systems, and modifications platforms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Install, modify, and troubleshoot aircraft avionics systems and components
  • Perform wiring, harness fabrication, termination, and routing
  • Install avionics equipment including radios, navigation systems, GPS, and displays
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
  • Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and functional checks

Summary of Education, Experience & Certification

High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • avionics installation experience required
  • B717 and/or A321 aircraft experience required
  • Experience performing C-checks or heavy maintenance required
  • Experience in an MRO or aircraft modification environment preferred
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong experience installing and troubleshooting avionics systems
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical documentation
  • Experience with wire routing, termination, crimping, and harness fabrication
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft electrical systems

  • Ability to lift, stand, and work in various physical positions throughout the shift
