Job summary

Titan Dynamics Inc. in Torrance, CA is seeking an Electrical Engineer to own the design, setup, and production of the electronics that fly on Titan aircraft: flight controllers, ESCs, RF links, and the associated SMT line in our clean room.

You will move boards from CAD to flight-ready hardware in weeks, work with flight test and software teams, and ensure robust, defense-grade electronics for in-house manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience with drone electronics including ESCs, BECs, GPS/compass modules, and video transmission systems.
• Familiarity with ArduPilot and PX4 flight controller hardware; understanding FMU/IMU concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and iterate on avionics hardware such as flight controllers and carrier boards.
• Develop and integrate RF-based hardware including receivers/transmitters and telemetry radios.
• Set up SMT assembly line in the clean room and manage stencil printing, reflow, inspection, and rework.
• Build test fixtures and QA procedures for in-house manufactured boards.
• Collaborate with flight test and software teams to validate hardware on ArduPilot-based aircraft.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues across wiring, EMI/RFI, and power delivery.
