Job summary

Amazon Prime Air is seeking an Electrical Hardware Engineer to own the hardware development lifecycle for avionics systems, from design through validation and manufacturing. You will collaborate with propulsion, structures, firmware, software, safety, certification, and production teams to meet the highest standards of safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Experience with hardware design, verification, and test.
• Knowledge of aerospace hardware standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Own product development lifecycle of hardware within the avionics system.
• Develop and execute verification and validation test plans against aerospace standards (DO-160, DO-254).
• Bring up EE hardware, validate interfaces, and enable system integration.
• Lead root cause analysis of hardware failures across interfaces and implement fixes.
• Drive DFx with vendors for manufacturability and reliability.
• Lead manufacturing, in-service, and reliability initiatives for avionics hardware.
