Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. in Mobile, AL, is seeking a Ground Test Inspector to join the Manufacturing Department.

The role involves planning, executing, and validating aircraft systems tests to confirm conformance to design specifications using the Airbus Test System, and leading issue isolation when deviations occur. The position emphasizes safety and quality within the Final Assembly Line, with responsibilities spanning test setup, coordinated troubleshooting, and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5 years aviation experience in avionics, systems, or cabin systems.
• 2 years minimum experience as an Aircraft Avionics Technician with a focus on aircraft systems (electrical preferred).
• 2 years minimum of experience in trouble shooting on aircraft systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the aircraft and workstation surroundings for the test on various avionics and systems, in a safe environment.
• Perform function tests on all systems (flight controls, navigation, passenger entertainment, etc.) in parallel to the assembly of the aircraft.
• Prepare, coordinate, and perform troubleshooting with responsible engineering teams on aircraft systems and test system environments.
• Organize documentation of any non-conformity in the SAP NC system and initiate associated retests after finalization of rework.
