Job summary

Scires, located in North Carolina, is seeking an experienced avionics technician to perform technical functions supporting engineering activities. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, maintenance, and providing support for Air Force customers.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years’ experience in aircraft avionics maintenance and must be able to operate independently in various environments. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and requires U.S. citizenship and a top secret security clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years’ experience in aircraft avionics maintenance.
• Ability to operate as a single maintainer in various locations, including hostile areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical functions in support of engineering activities.
• Provide technical support on operation and maintenance of assigned equipment.
• Assist in training junior electronics technicians.

Skills

Aircraft avionics maintenance experience

DoD SIGINT experience

CompTIA Security+ certification

Knowledge of AF and AFSOC organizational structure

Knowledge of DoD SIGINT/COMINT concepts
