Job summary

Acron Aviation is seeking an Engineering Technician – Surveillance to support design, qualification, and test engineering activities in an ESD/FOD-controlled lab environment. The role covers assembly, soldering, testing, and rapid prototyping for embedded systems and RF circuits.

You will collaborate with multiple engineering teams, support calibration and equipment maintenance, and champion lab 5S practices to ensure readiness for fast-paced product development and testing.

Qualifications

• Read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Soldering, rework, assembly, and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies.
• Experience in laboratory, test, manufacturing, or engineering environments.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Read schematics and drawings to assemble prototype equipment from released docs.
• Create redline markup drawings for test equipment and wire harnesses.
• Perform soldering and rework of PTH and SMT assemblies.
• Assemble wire harnesses, test fixtures, and prototype hardware.
• Conduct electrical testing and troubleshooting of circuits.
