Reflect Orbital in Hawthorne, California, is looking for an Avionics Engineer to design, build, and validate electronic subsystems for our spacecraft. This role involves a high degree of ownership and autonomy, with responsibilities including developing avionics test infrastructure and qualification testing for space environments.
The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of experience and a proven history in high-reliability electronics systems. Reflect offers comprehensive benefits such as 100% coverage for medical, dental, and vision, as well as unlimited paid time off.

As an Avionics Engineer, you will have zero to one design ownership of electronic subsystems on our first spacecraft. You will be responsible for designing, building, testing and improving reliable space-ready components. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working on spacecraft.
Even if you don’t meet 100% of the above qualifications, we are likely still interested in hearing from you. Hiring exceptional individuals is our #1 priority, and we believe that exceptional people often have highly unusual backgrounds.
We are also interested in carving out unique roles for unconventional people that we are excited about working with.
