Job summary

DCS Corp in the United States seeks an Electrical Technician to fabricate, assemble, and test avionic systems for defense programs. You will build cable harnesses, chassis, and electro-mechanical assemblies, interpreting schematics and drawings to guide fabrication and delivery estimates.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, ability to obtain a security clearance, and a high school diploma with 4+ years of hands-on experience; IPC soldering and PCB assembly certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Ability to earn and maintain security clearance during employment.
  • High school diploma and 4+ years of practical experience.
  • Ability to maintain IPC Standard Certifications for soldering, wire harness manufacturing, and PCB assembly.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and fabrication drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Build electrical cable harnesses and avionic system chassis with attention to detail.
  • Interpret schematics/drawings to develop fabrication processes and delivery estimates.
  • Assemble electrical assemblies with commercial and military components, using industry tools and soldering.
  • Populate cabinets with wiring harnesses, PCBs, and relay panels and test for proper operation.
  • Assist engineers with lab modifications, wire bundles, and equipment reconfiguration.
  • Conduct QA checks and troubleshoot products per schematics using multimeter and oscilloscope.
