Job summary

HIKINEX is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer, Avionics Design to lead full-cycle PCB development and power management for advanced avionics systems.

You will design microcontroller-based systems, integrate embedded hardware, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical aerospace solutions. Strong background in mixed-signal electronics and EMI/thermal considerations is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex electrical systems.
• Experience performing power system analysis, electrical loading analysis, simulation, and validation.
• Strong experience with power design and management, MCU design, and mixed-signal PCB design.
• Proficiency with lab equipment and standard test methods.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle PCB design from requirements to bring-up and system integration.
• Design and integrate microcontroller-based systems and support hardware bring-up.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software integration issues using lab tools.
• Design and integrate power management systems and power distribution.
• Develop payloads and subsystems including sensors, networking, interfaces, and power.
• Create system interconnect diagrams and define cable harnesses.
• Collaborate across electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test teams.
• Participate in peer design reviews to ensure high-quality designs.
